50 out of 5 stars by far the best atlas of human anatomy reviewed in the united states on january 3 2019 i am a retired plastic surgeon who always had a special interest in anatomy. I chose sobotta atlas of anatomy because after comparing it to gilroys seemed to have better and more detailed illustrations one of the reasons was also the fact that it comes in 3 thick books rather than just one enormous and heavy book this is why a lot of my classmates did choose gilroy because everything is in one place in one book i found carrying 1 not so heavy book with me easier than having to carry one very heavy book because i often studied in library and they didnt . Good for when the three volume atlas is too much contains a few errors nothing serious though but its annoyingmore flag like see review jul 22 2020 rune solli rated it it was amazing review of another edition the book contains beautiful illustrations and lucid tables and figures that aids in the process of learning the complex human anatomy flag like see review dec 29 .
